Hability Therapy provides habilitative occupational therapy services that support individuals in developing, maintaining, and improving essential life skills needed for daily living and meaningful participation.
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) & Functional Skills: Dressing, grooming, hygiene, and self-care routines; meal participation and feeding support; and building independence and consistency in daily routines.
Motor Planning, Coordination & Functional Strength: Improving motor planning and sequencing for daily tasks; fine motor skill development and bilateral coordination; and functional strengthening to support participation in everyday activities.
Sensory Processing & Regulation: Addressing sensory processing differences that impact daily functioning; developing individualized sensory regulation strategies; and supporting attention, transitions, and emotional regulation.
Wheelchair Evaluations & Assistive Technology: Functional wheelchair and seating evaluations; collaboration with wheelchair clinics and ATP providers; and assistive technology to support independence and safety.
Community & Day Program Participation: Supporting engagement in structured and unstructured activities; improving participation in day programs and community routines; and promoting carryover of skills across environments.
Executive Functioning & Life Skills: Task initiation, organization, and follow-through; building independence with routines and responsibilities; and supporting functional problem-solving skills.
